Eyelash Extensions (Classic, Russian Volume & Hybrid)

For Aftercare advice on Eyelash Extensions please Click Here.

Classic Eyelash Extensions

A single strand, synthetic eyelash extension is applied to each natural lash to create a natural, lengthening and thickening effect. Tweezers are used to isolate each natural eyelash during application to ensure that your natural lashes are free to grow and move at their usual rate.

Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions

A fan of 2-4 light weight, synthetic eyelash extensions (Handmade by me upon application) is applied to each natural lash to create a more dramatic, lengthening and thickening effect. I use the same isolation technique as I do with the classic lashes to ensure a comfortable and non-damaging experience.

There’s no need to fear the term ‘Volume’. The Russian volume ‘fans’ allow me to create a more even appearance by covering the gaps. This, paired with the ability to use as few or as many lashes in a fan as I need, means that I can create a beautifully natural set. They also tend to hold longer on the natural lash due to the multiple extensions ‘wrapping’ round and encapsulating the natural lash.

Hybrid Eyelash Extensions

Hybrid lashes are by far, my most popular lash type. They are a 50/50 mix between the Classic and Russian lashes. I create a skeleton of classic lashes and then fill them in with the Russian volume fans!

Eyelash Extension Infills

Extensions will fall out naturally overtime when your natural lashes shed. Therefore, they can start to look a little sparse after a few weeks. This is completely normal and healthy! It is at this point that you may want to have them infilled. During an infill session, all the bare natural lashes will have new extensions applied, as well as the outgrown extensions being replaced with new ones. This replenishes the look of your lashes and brings them back to looking like a fresh new set. You may continue to have as many infill sessions as you wish without needing a break. I always apply lashes with the health of your natural lashes in mind, meaning that all types of lashes are safe to be worn on a longterm basis without resulting in the damage of you natural lashes.

Infills are available as 30, 60 and 90 minute appointments. This is to give you full control over how your lashes look. (So,if you want really full lashes, you would have long infill sessions more often – e.g. 90min Infill every 2 weeks)

Once you have your full set applied, you will be advised on when you should come for infills. Generally, most people opt for a 60min infill after 2 weeks or a 90min infill after 3 weeks.

Important things to note before having Eyelash Extensions:

  • A patch test is required at least 24 hours prior to your appointment if you haven’t had this treatment with me before. This can be booked using my online booking system or directly through me.
  • You do not have to stick with your original lash type when having infills. For example, if you have a full set of classic extensions applied and decide that you would like a little more volume, we can infill with Hybrid Extensions on your next visit.
  • Your natural lash pattern and length will determine the outcome of your set. I will never apply anything that is going to damage the natural lashes. The longest lashes I stock are 13mm as even some of the strongest and longest natural lashes can only hold up to a 12mm on their longest lashes.
  • Everyone’s lashes will look different. This is due to factors including eye shape, eyelash strength, eyelash length and the number of lashes you have. Whilst Images from my gallery and social media are a good representation of what you can expect, yours will never look identical to someone else’s.
  • It is normal to lose up to 4 of your natural lashes daily. This is just part of the normal shedding process. You may just start to notice this more when there’s an extension attached! You may also notice a few extensions coming out on their own. This is due to the small amount of glue used to adhere the extensions to your lashes. Accidentally Sleeping on your face or rubbing your eyes may cause some extensions to fall out prematurely. This is also completely normal!
  • Please also note that due to insurance reasons, I cannot infill on other therapist’s work.

Eyebrow Waxing

Warm wax is applied to the skin which clings to the hairs. When the wax is removed, the hair comes with it, being pulled out from the follicle. Compared to other hair removal techniques, waxing leaves you with lovely smooth skin and softer hair regrowth.

Eyebrow waxing is available on its own, or with an Eyebrow Tint.

Dermaplaning Facials

Dermaplaning

For aftercare advice on dermaplaning please Click Here.

Dermaplaning is a deeply exfoliating facial treatment performed using a medical scalpel. (not as scary as it sounds!)

The scalpel glides over the skin to remove any dead skin and ‘peach fuzz'(Hair), leaving you with lovely, glowing skin. The process is completely painless and theres no down time. Many describe the feeling as a ‘scraping sensation’.

You can opt for the ‘Express Dermaplaning Facial’ or the ‘Full Dermaplaning Facial’. Both Facials Include a cleanse, dermaplaning, tone, moisturise and SPF application. The ‘Full Dermaplaning Facial’ also includes an enzyme peel, cooling face mask and under eye mask for the ultimate glow!

Will the hair grow back thicker?

Contrary to popular belief, the hair does not grow back any thicker or darker. It may feel slightly different due to being cut bluntly at the end. A hair that has not been cut is slightly softer to touch as it has a tapered end. Having a dermaplaning facial will not effect the growth of your facial hair. Any terminal hairs (The odd darker, thicker hairs that sprout randomly in the wrong areas) will need to be removed prior to treatment. This is usually done using tweezers.

What are the benefits?

  • It gives instant results with no down time
  • It leaves you with a lovely smooth surface for makeup application
  • Gets rid of dead skin to reveal the fresh glowing skin underneath
  • Can help with Acne scarring (although it is not recommended to have the dermaplaning if you have active acne)
  • Removes soft facial hairs that trap dirt and oils which can cause break outs.
  • Allows for product to penetrate the skin quicker
  • It is completely painless.
  • It is well tolerated if you have sensitive skin and are unable to have the more invasive exfoliating treatments.

What to expect after dermaplaning?

Whilst there is no down time for this treatment, you may experience a little dryness or tightness. This is completely normal.

There will also be some aftercare advice that you will need to follow. Please Click Here to see more information on aftercare.

How often should I have dermaplaning?

For the best results, dermaplaning should be done every 4-5 weeks.

It is not recommended that you come more frequently than every 4 weeks.

Nails

Gel Polish Nails

For aftercare advice on Gel Polish Nails please Click Here.

A longer lasting, chip resistant alternative to a regular manicure. This polish will last most people up to 2-3 weeks.

This treatment is an equivalent of ‘Shellac’. ‘Shellac’ is just a brand of Gel Polish.

Acrylic Nails

For aftercare advice on Acrylic Nails please Click Here.

A liquid monomer and a powder polymer are combined upon application to create a hard layer over your nails. This can be applied straight over your natural nails to strengthen them and allow them to grow long. It is also often applied underneath gel polish to increase the longevity of the colour.

It can also be applied over a nail extension if you wish to make your nails longer.

Please kindly note that the natural length of your nails will determine how long the extensions can be. i.e. I will not apply long extensions to very short / bitten nails due to the strain it could put on your natural nails.

Dip & Buff Nails

For Aftercare advice on Dip & Buff Nails please Click Here.

Your nails are dipped into an acrylic based powder in between layers of a resin based base coat and activating solution. This creates a protective layer over the nail, with the lasting power of acrylic, but with the flexibility and natural look of gel polish. The powder used comes in a variety of colours, although gel polish can be applied over the top to give you more colour options.

This system can also be used on top of nail tips in order to extend the nails. Please note that the dip & buff system is not as structurally strong as the regular acrylics.
